I just unveiled wild primroses in my garden, as I cleared the autumn and winter leaf fall and dead stalks. Beginning to garden at my new home is beyond magical ~ it seems that the garden is filled with fruit trees and plants ~ raspberries, a plum tree outside  my window (its first blossom showing!) and figs. And all gazing out over an ocean horizon

It’s like being in the Secret Garden ~ some of the treasures are covered and blown over with a long autumn of no-one living here ~ and there are archways and paving in unexpected places ~ becoming visible as I clear the brambles and overgrowth

Gardening is one of my deepest, deepest joys. It makes me so happy I think I’m going to explode at moments! 

My garden in Avalon was completely overtaken with reeds ~ and I cleared it and planted roses and herbs, and it become so soft and flowering after being so sere before
